Job Description Parents as Teachers promotes the optimal early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers. Parent educator works with families who have children from prenatal to age five. There are three areas of focus: parent-child interaction, development centered parenting, and family well-being. Through this school readiness program, parent educator enables parents/caregivers with the knowledge and support that they are their child's first and most important teacher. As a Triple P practitioner in Levels 3 and 4 group, parents are provided strategies to assist them with addressing unwanted behavior(s) with their child(ren).
