What is a StoryWalk®? It’s a unique way to combine reading, physical activity, and outdoor exploration! A StoryWalk is a series of pages from a children’s book, or an original story displayed to create a fun journey, allowing families to enjoy a story one page at a time as they move from sign to sign. These installations encourage early literacy, promote healthy movement, and create opportunities for families to spend quality time together in nature. Our StoryWalk sites are designed to spark curiosity, inspire imagination, and build a lifelong love of reading and imagination—one step and one story at a time.
